We are NOT a UN Agency but we are working hard as part of our efforts to fight hunger towards achieving Goal 2 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals Agenda. 

Sustainable development goal 2 seeks sustainable solutions to end hunger in all its forms by 2030 and to achieve food security. The aim is to ensure that everyone everywhere has enough good quality food to lead a healthy life. Achieving this goal will require better access to food and the widespread promotion of sustainable agriculture. This entails improving the productivity and incomes of small scale farmers by promoting equal access to land, technology and markets, sustainable food production systems and resilient agricultural practices. It also requires increased investments through international cooperation to bolster productive capacity of agriculture in developing countries.

Staplefoods.org is a global food organization that is committed to solving challenges pertaining to the successful accomplishment of SDG2. It is dedicated to implementing solutions to eradicating hunger, ensuring food security, working with other actors throughout the agricultural value chain, improving food and agricultural systems in Ghana and various parts of the world.

Staplefood.org is farmer friendly. Staplefood.org engages local small scale farmers for produce and develops lasting partnerships with them. This organization ensures the continued viability of small scale farming by supporting, encouraging and purchasing from local growers. Through seminars, conferences and workshops, staplefoods.org educates and shares relevant data with various stakeholders in the agricultural value chain.
